We have two bar areas at The Globe Inn, offering a wide choice of well-kept local real ales, ciders and wines. The bar itself boasts beautiful exposed stone and beams with an open fire and log burning stove. We also offer a cosy snug area with sofas and cushions. Our large bar is perfect for chatting with locals and visitors alike and behind this, we have the Barn Room which is ideal for families, functions and parties.

The bar areas accommodate approximately 50 people and the Barn Room approximately 36.

Our oak floored bar takes you through to the traditional games room with darts and pool, and dogs are welcome within these areas.

The Globe Inn is ideally located between Kingsbridge and Dartmouth, for all types of events, celebrations, parties, funerals or special occasions. The Globe can be used exclusively for larger functions, although we do have facilities for more intimate get-togethers. Our new large terrace and garden area is perfect for weddings as the countryside backdrop and Estuary Bridge is perfect for those all-important photographs. The barn room is used for more private meetings and is also available for presentations and meetings.

The functions we are particularly known for include parties, christenings, association functions, wakes and small weddings.

At The Globe Inn, we offer an extensive set of menus for breakfast, Sunday lunch and dinner, that include many traditional pub favourites as well as our daily specials that make the most of all the glorious local produce available to us. All of our food is homemade and uses the freshest, local ingredients.

For al fresco dining, we offer our delightful patio and terrace area with stunning countryside views, just perfect for those milder days and evenings. Regular BBQs are available for large parties (up to 60) - perfect for those stopping off when having a day’s boating.
